What is the MSM Education Board?
The MSM Education Board oversees all educational strategy related activities and issues for the degree programs. It meets monthly and recommends to the Director of Academics, who chairs the Education Board. The advises are proposed to the Dean, who makes the final decisions. Furthermore the Education Board is represented by the Director of Education, Director Research and the Academic Coordinators of the degree programmes; and a secretary.
Role of the student representative
For MSM it’s of high importance to involve students in MSM’s governance and the best platform for this is the MSM Education Board. Student representatives have the opportunity to join the Education Board meetings to address any academic related items. The main role of the representatives is to gather views from their peers regarding various aspects of their course and to communicate those to the Education Board. The student representatives for the Education Board have been elected by the class representatives from each of the degree programs.
