MSM shares its expertise and best practices on the topic "cultivating and maintaining international partnerships" at IACBE'S annual conference
ACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education) hosted its 2018 Annual Conference & Assembly Meeting in New Orleans, USA on April 17-20. MSM was represented by MSM’s Associate Dean Global Education Programs, Ms. Kovacs.
This year’s theme was about “Business Education: Learn. Apply. Experience”. MSM as a leader in higher education developments across the globe helps other HEIs to develop and improve their services. Hence, Ms. Kovacs, was asked to participate in a panel discussion entitled “cultivating and maintaining international partnerships”. MSM, as an experienced institution working with global higher education institutions since 1991, was excited to share its experiences and best practices with its peers.
Ms. Kovacs was also honored by IACBE’s President, Dr. Phyllis Okrepkie, as she received a plaque as a token of appreciation for her six years of service to IACBE and higher education as member and previous Chair of the IACBE Board of Commissioners. Being part of the IACBE Board of Commissioners, Ms. Kovacs has proven to be a valuable member in the development of accreditation of business programs worldwide.
MSM also congratulates its partner institution, Nichols College, Massachusetts, with its acknowledgement by IACBE. Ms. Kerry Calnan, Executive Director of Graduate & Professional Studies, Associate Professor Accounting and Finance was selected as the 2018 recipient of the John L. Green Award for Excellence in Business Education. The John L. Green Award for Excellence in Business Education honors individuals who have made significant contributions that advance the cause of academic quality in business education in a manner consistent with the IACBE’s Characteristics of Excellence in Business Education. The award is named after Dr. John L. Green, Jr., Founder and President Emeritus of the IACBE, who spent most of his life helping others to achieve excellence in business education.
