Training for Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) successfully closed
On 18 October, a one-year training program on Anti-Corruption Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for a team of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, KPK) was formally closed.
The training program offered by MSM was offered by the request of KPKs new training center that was set-up in 2018. This center is training staff and has the mission to strengthen ethical behavior of in particular government officials and staff of state-owned enterprises. MSM contributed with a training of one week at MSM in Maastricht, and two follow-up training workshops in Indonesia. The training in Maastricht covered transformational leadership, strategy development, marketing, adult learning and Problem Based Learning (PBL). The last two topics were deepened at the follow-up workshops in Jakarta.
As a result of the training program, the training center of KPK has developed a more focused strategy, has better understanding of how to use social media for marketing, and has developed a training course on transformational leadership using PBL. Even more important is that the team has now better understanding of how to develop short-term training courses, which is of relevance for all their future work.
Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme
The Orange Knowledge Programme is a €195-m Dutch global development programme, available in 53 developing countries and managed by Nuffic, a Dutch non-profit organisation for internationalisation in education. Launched mid-2017, it aims to have provided tens of thousands with the possibility to change their future through education and training by mid-2022.
