Research Methods and Skills program – fully geared towards your research proposal
“During the Research Methods and Skills program I learned how to write a research proposal, how to look for relevant articles, how to prepare an interview guide and how to conduct interviews. The program also taught me how to analyze the obtained data.” This said Ms. Ethel Ansah-Antwi after successfully completing the Research Methods and Skills program.
“After having completed the program I am now more than confident to join the research department at my employer and to conduct research,” according to Ms. Ethel Ansah-Antwi. To enhance her career she will also pursue a PhD program applying the lessons learned during the program.
The MSM Research Methods and Skills program is a unique program to develop the academic skills and scientific mindset of the participants. The program comprises five modules and takes participants through the empirical research cycle step-by-step. The modules are Introduction to Research Methodology, Qualitative Research Methods, Quantitative Data Collection, Quantitative Data Analysis and the Individual Research Proposal. The program can be followed on-campus and blended (i.e. online videos, handouts, moderated online forum discussions, feedback on assignments per email and Skype).
