Obituary Dr. Philip Ojwang Kamau

It is with great sadness that we learned about the passing away of Dr. Philip Ojwang Kamau.

Dr. Kamau graduated in 2014 from the MSM DBA program with his thesis The impact and management of currency risk in multilateral banks. He was a founding member of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and currently CEO of Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA), a subsidiary of Afreximbank.

Dr. Kamau passed away on 20 January at his residence in Cairo at the age of 61.

We will remember him as a gentle and pleasant person, and as a dedicated and ambitious student. Our hearts go out to his family, as they are grieving this painful loss. We wish them strength and courage to get through this difficult time.
