Nanjing University Executive MBA students follow classes at MSM in Maastricht

Over the past two weeks, we had the pleasure of hosting two cohorts of our joint Executive MBA programme with Nanjing University (NJU).

The first group, consisting of 24 students, arrived at MSM on 26 September 2023 to follow the course Design Thinking & Creativity, as part of their specialisation in Innovation Management.

The students had a busy week, filled with captivating lectures and guest lectures by experts from the Maastricht Center for Robots, DEX Lab, Google and ABN AMRO bank. In addition, the students embarked on engaging work visits to Medtronic, APG (the largest pension provider in the Netherlands), and Brightlands, where they enjoyed a presentation on the Brightlands Smart Institute for Society.

After saying goodbye to the students of the Executive MBA in Innovation Management, we welcomed 29 students of the Healthcare Management specialisation on 2 October 2023.

These students dived into the course ‘Innovation and Hatching in Healthcare’. They also had a rich one-week programme packed with interesting lectures and insightful work visits to institutions like the Princess Maxima Center for pediatric oncology, the Catherina Hospital in Eindhoven, the Keerderberg Foundation and the Healthcare Technology Living Lab in Roermond.

After an immersive week of learning and gaining fresh perspectives, the students travelled back to Nanjing, ready to apply their new knowledge and insights to their daily responsibilities.
