MSM partners in newly granted impact-he project to foster growth in kenyan and ethiopian universities
Maastricht School of Management (MSM) has joined as a key partner in the newly granted “IMPACT-HE” project, funded by Erasmus+. The project is designed to enhance the capacity of universities in Kenya and Ethiopia to manage and coordinate international development cooperation funds, focusing on maximizing societal impact. While OBREAL Global leads the project, MSM’s role will be pivotal in providing its expertise in project management, impact assessment, and higher education development.
MSM will design and coordinate the implementation of a self-assessment tool that will enable partner universities to measure the societal impact of their international cooperation projects, ensuring more robust outcomes and long-term sustainability. MSM will also contribute by delivering specialized training programs aimed at building the capacity of university staff in key areas such as project management, monitoring, and impact assessment.
This partnership further enhances MSM’s global reach and strengthens its position as a leader in higher education in emerging economies. Through its role in the IMPACT-HE project, MSM will help foster long-term, sustainable growth in the higher education sector in Africa.
