To increase Capacity of TSWRI to Provide High Quality Training for the Human Resources in the Water Sector

The overall scope of the project is to support the Training Center for Water Resources and Irrigation (TSWRI), as a training center within the Ministry of Water Resources and irrigation (MWRI) to develop their competences in managerial and engineering field, in order to meet institutional demands for training.
The project envisages the development in two main domains: 1) Institutional development and strengthening of support structure; 2) Curriculum renewal and the introduction of modern learning techniques.

Project interventions are planned including various trainings, curriculum design and revision, development of gender strategy, exposure visits etc. The proposal is submitted by a consortium of very experienced institutions in the areas of institutional building, strategic leadership and management, research, education and capacity building in the fields of water, environment and infrastructure.
