Institutional Strenghtening of RTF to deliver Training Programmes in the Prevention and Mitigation of SGBV

To project will contribute to the resolution of regional conflict dynamics and inclusive growth in the Great Lakes Region Africa through strengthened evidence-based policy development and implementation for prevention and appropriate handling of sexual and gender based violence cases.

The project focuses on further strengthening of  the regional Sexual and Gender Based Violence knowledge and training network that facilitates regional collaboration within the great lakes region including:

• mobilisation and organisation of pool of experts and trainers,
• monitoring and evaluation of training programmes integrating feedback from stakeholders,
• documentation, and knowledge sharing,
• other outreach programmes,

in the prevention, mitigation, resolution and reduction of SGBV cases in the 12 member states of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region Africa.
