Strategic Financial Management and Budgeting in the Public Sector

MSM provides tailor-made training in Strategic Financial Management and Budgeting to 11 civil servants of the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement. The training course (held in both the Netherlands and Bhutan) aims to familiarize participants with cutting-edge practices in financial procurement and internal audit procedures – but importantly in a manner that will build on Bhutanese cultural and traditional values. Lectures are given by experts of a.o. Twente University and the European Court of Audit. Work visits have been organized to the A2 highway tunnel project in Maastricht and several Infrastructure projects in Amsterdam.
